My Thrustmaster wheel suddenly goes loose and doesn't send signal
It didn't happen months before, but now i go race with my T-gt and in the middle of the races the wheel force feedback suddenly goes loose and i lose control from the game; then a couple of seconds after i recover control. Sometimes wheel starts vibrating out of control.
Really bothering and i don't play the game anymore because of this.

I own the TM T500 RS GT along with the TM TH8RS 8 speed shifter which I highly recommend in Wreckfest. I have also had the wheel go limp, you cannot control your car after that. I exit the game when that happens and restart my PC.
If you are going to be racing for a long period I would suggest lowering the force feedback. I have mine set at 45 and I am still happy with the feedback but the wheel is not working as hard and the fan does not kick in as much.
I would also highly recommend updating the firmware for the wheel.
The wheel also works better being plugged into a single USB 2.0 port, not a hub.
After this latest windows 10 update it changed some important settings for USB peripherals that caused my wheel to act like yours. Open Control Panel / under Power Options select choose power plan, make sure High Performance is selected when gaming / Change Plan Settings, make sure turn off display and put the computer to sleep are set to never / Change Advanced Power Settings / click the plus sign for USB Settings then USB selective suspend settings and change to disabled. Go through the sleep options as well and make sure they are set to never. Scroll down to processor power management, make sure both minimum and maximum processor state are set to 100%.
I got these little pauses while playing and after the pause no FFB and I had to quit.
I hope this helps...
