I just did the same event with the settings shown.
I don't know what you are looking at, but the CREDITS are 2110. No where near 10,000 .
The credit farming video pays the best and the fastest, end of story.
If you would like to refute that statement you will need to show proof.
I also have a video of that Hellride track on my YouTube site.
If you're one of those guys who like to think that you've earned it... well you lost your progress, you already earned it!
Or maybe there's an use for experience/XP that I'm unaware of?
I use a program that was included with my video card, I record and upload to YouTube (like most players).
As far as proving me wrong, 2 screenshots will do that.
As you can see, the credits are 2110.
The only difference in our settings is I use normal damage, so where is this extra 7900 credits you claim to get coming from?
(Personally, I think you are looking at the XP number-it is always higher than the credits number)
I will wait to see your screenshot proof.
Surely you know how to do that.
@3dog:
There is no similarity to using a mod to get credits and vehicles and "credit farming".
Credit farming requires effort.
The mod GIVES you credits and vehicles with a simple download.
There is no reward or real use for the XP number, other than the fact it takes time and effort to be at level 100 with a large XP number.
And to the people that suddenly lost all of their progress:
You never had to lose a thing.
By making a simple back-up that little problem is avoidable.
Unfortunately, the "it won't happen to me, EVER" crowd will always have problems like that, and the rest of us will continue make backups and not have that little problem.
Then the players that refuse to do a simple backup will post (again) and someone will try to help them in the forums (again) and the cycle will be repeated.
A simple backup will solve a future problem.
Going from memory id say atleast 60k xp and 20k credits
I remember "quick and easy" was the main thing.
And who would survive a 60 lap race with AI and realistic damage on that track ? LMAO !
you kill them in a couple minutes
seems i didnt remember the xp and credit amount correctly though

So how long was that event?
How many laps ?
But yeah, that a great way to boost credits, regardless.
I never checked into anything else because I never needed to.
I won't ever lose my progress, I know how to do a backup.
