What's the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit?
When I go to boot up Wreckfest it asks me if I want to run it in 64 bit or 32 bit. I've always run it in 64 bit, but I just tried it in 32 bit and see no difference. I was thinking maybe the screen resolution might change or the number of AI might be different. But not that I can tell. The cars seem to act the same, although I notice a bit of 'chunkiness' when all 24 cars are in the same screen, like at the very start of a race where everyone dives into a corner in one big crash.

So what IS the difference? Am I losing anything by going with 32 bit, or gaining anything when I go with 64 bit?

An article regarding the subject and which answers it in details: https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/32-bit-vs-64-bit-operating-systems/
While it primarily focuses on OS in this example, the same can be said for games. If you have an somewhat modern system it most likely is best to run 64 bit version, but as you might have noticed in your case - sometimes the difference is little but it depends on a range of factors.

Hey - thanks for the link TVE. I read the whole thing and I think I have a handle on it. So I'll alwayus hit the 64 bit button when I boot up Wreckfest - because I can.

I tried both and stutters appear on 64bit with everything maxxed(i mean 4k/all full settings)and in 32bit I run it no stutters at all.Try both exe's and decide for yourself lads.
