Are there offical multiplayer servers?

I keep hearing about the player run servers that ban people for wrecking others in a game about wrecking others. Are there official multiplayer servers so that you won't get banned for playing the game the way it's supposed to be played?

There are several servers provided by Bugbear in various regions around the globe.
They are always populated by bots. 4 AI is it.
I have never seen a human player in a single one of the "Official" Bugbear servers. Not one.

This game is far more than just multiplayer, @Jay Smizzle.
There are 193 servers online right now, 12 of them are Bugbears.
I have had a great deal of fun in Career play as well as Custom races, so don't let the M/P situation put you off of this game.
Trust me, it is a cool game.

Multiplayer is where all the fun is and the official servers have plenty players except other servers are much better. There are many many dirty racing / no rules type servers out there, I don't know what kind of advice the guy above is giving.

The OP specified OFFICIAL servers.

I just looked again and there are NO human players in any of them.

I know there are a ton of servers for this game, with all of the rules, restrictions and mod requirements.
I also expalined that there is more to this game than M/P.
"All of the fun" is in M/P is your opinion, not everyone shares that feeling.

There are players in the official servers all the time, that's just a fact. If you personally enjoy driving against ai then why are you offering advice to someone about multiplayer which you don't enjoy. Career play is a basic introduction to the game and custom games are for someone without internet or who wants to practice/doesn't want to race against real people. You said don't let the 'multiplayer situation' put you off the game to the OP. Something which you know nothing of.

I don't need that ping from where I am. Ping greater than 125 isn't good. And that server wasn't populated 2 hours ago. Or even 25 minutes ago.
Accept that not everyone lives in the European region.

i wish we could white list those gay ass servers like they white list us actual WRECKERS. why would anyone by a game they dont actually want to play? this is whats killing gaming all together.
