Just use the "joystick emulation" feature of the platform software and set it for subtle movements.
No, it's not actual motion with jumps, bumps, bangs & crashes, but it does add to the immersion and give you some motion as you accelerate and take corners.
I'm currently doing this with my own DIY SimTools based 2dof motion platform and it feels great! Especially in VR using vorpX and with dual Buttkickers going in order to get the rumble from road feel & crashes, etc.
