When you go the garage, do you only see the text "NO VEHICLES AVAILABLE"? I take it that the issue does not clear up even after restarting the game? Have you had any mods installed at any point (when using your current save file)?
Also, can you possible share the save files?
They are an actual developer working on fixing the game, communicating on three different forums with fans and collecting feedback. After that hopefully the whole team knows what to work on to make the best game for the fans. Then they put in extra work outside of office hours.
They really do put their life into this to make something for us fans.
Personally, I’m just a volunteer with a bad internet connection trying to make sure people are heard and feedback gets to Janne.

The truth about why there are no easy fixes right now is that we are currently figuring out the fixes to issues we have never seen before. These appear similar to issues we had fixes for so thats why we are all confused and not providing effective help.
This is honestly the hardest bug fixing job I’ve seen in the four years this game has been worked on. So it sucks for players and devs right now, but this is a team with a proven record of fixing critical bugs quickly.
They just need our help with getting the best possible feedback so they can do that job.

So with all that explained I really hope you can provide the best possible feedback so Janne can fix this.
Yes the test I get is NO VEHICLES AVAILABLE. After 2 days I got some vehicles to buy. I backed up the save file and reseted my default save. When I replaced the new reseted save, nothing changed for some reason. It was still a brand new save. So I am afraid I cannot help you with my save file since it is just a brand new one right now.
I was not using any mods whatsoever but after what happened I downloaded the free market mod that just unlocks everything and you can buy them at no cost so I did that. I will try the career mode again today and I still have the same problem with the races that do not unlock I will come back with more info and the new save file.
The fact remains that even though I met the requirements for some races, they remained locked.
Anyway as I said I will try again today or tommorow and will send the save file if the problem persists.
Stupid question but you are picking the actual car from your garage first that the career race requires and not just expecting it to unlkock simply because the vechicle is owned,as far as i am aware the req vechicle has to be "equipped".
I really appreciate that.
We haven't been able to reproduce the issue on our end but even so we now have a probably fix for the next hotfix. That said... You mentioned that you met the requirements for the series yet they remained locked, do you mean that you had an eligible car but still couldn't enter the series? Could you give an example?
No need to apologize, your reaction was understandable.
For example the "Banger Racing - Heat race Banger blitz" in the regional juniors. The requirements are - All types of vehicles from class C. The race remained locked even though I definitely had the cars needed, the ones that are getting unlocked by doing the races. It even said that I owned one. I had completed every race I could up to that point which gave me to 1600 points needed to proceed to the "National amateurs" races where I got stuck after doing 2 races. This is just an example, it was not the only race where I met the requirements but it is the only race I am sure of right now cause as I said the save is gone.
Note you do this at the risk of messing up your career game, however it worked fine for me !
Believe me when I say that I was getting just as frustrated as you guys were until I started paying very close attention and noticed that little detail. Im so relieved that im able to continue on now.
I have the exact same issue. I've done all the races I can in both the first and second championships and in teh second one, I can only get 500 of the 600 points needed to move on to other races. No idea what's going on here. And yes I scrolled to the right to show the other races there but they're still locked as well. And I bought the game as an early release years ago.
I downgraded some Type C cars and viola!, a locked Match was unlocked. For whatever reason, upgrading your cars can result in certain Matches remaining locked. Even locking previous played matches you've already raced.
You don't have to do a complete downgrade, but you kind of have to Downgrade and then go back to the Match to see if your car now qualifies. This is just plain bad game design because there is no mention of this anywhere in the Match description. It just says you don't own a qualifying car, when in reality you most likely do, but it's "too upgraded" to compete
Every car potentially qualifies for any class. That's the way the upgrade system works. The game can't know what car you intend to use or what exactly you should do to it to make it fit the required class.
There's no reason to switch back and forth between screens. It says right there on the Garage screen or the Upgrades screen what class your car is currently. This info appears in the same place as it appears on the Market screen, so if you knew where to look for it when buying, then you know where to look for it while tuning.
Similarly the info about restricted class for an event is there under 'car restrictions'. It's even colour coded so it stands out. The only time I've been confused by this is when I encountered an actual bug, where my car briefly didn't register as its correct racing class until I switched back and forth between cars.
