Native PS4 controller support
I'd love it if the game gets this, since using a 3rd part tool works. But not flawlessly.

I'm using my PS4 controller just fine through Steam.

How? The game doesn't detect mine unless I use a tool like DS4Windows.

Any other game that has native DS4 support works fine.

How? I plug my PS4 controller in and Steam recognizes it. That's it. I used to use InputMapper but a few months ago Steam made changes to their controller handling and now they see my controller when it gets plugged in. And actually fights the controller software if I try to use that instead.

Well that doesn't happen for me for some reason...

Yeah I thought Steam controller API takes care of all this nowadays? In fact I wish it didn't, because it has mis-indentified some of my controllers before.

But my understanding is you should be able to just plug any pad into a Steam game and have it recognise your stuff, with the way it works now. The configuration settings for controllers are buried somewhere in Big Picture mode (even if you don't use Big Picture). Someone else who's used it more recently might be able to guide you with it, I can't remember.
