Colourblind option or is something wrong with my game? Colours inverted.
So I started the game as usual, but apparently something is wrong with the graphics. Everything is blue, black and white. The Menu, the gras and the cars.

I tried to capture it in a screenshot, but the colours in the picture are just fine.

Is there an option for colourblind people somewhere hidden wich turned itself on?

Just checked game files and disabled all mods. Still buggy.
The colours are all inverted. What is supposed to be red is now blue and whats supposed to be blue is red.
I am riding beneath blue dirt into a red sky. Steam screenshot (F12) is not able to capture it.
Please help.

Known solutions thread for fixes to problems running NCG and Sneak Peek.[community.bugbeargames.com]

Problem:
After letting Microsoft upgraded my Win 7 to Win 10, I now need 3d glasses to play Wreckfest! :o

Solution:
If I alt-tab and then go back to Wreckfest, that would get rid of the 3D effect. But I wanted a better fix. So I did a Google search for " this application is not rated by nvidia corp " And got a link to this thread:

This application is not rated by Nvidia Corp

Loading the title screen when I was given a message in the bottom left of screen saying "This application is not rated by nvidia corp"...

Followed by my game skitzing out and all the colours turning a brown orange and white mess. Now unplayable.

Drivers are current and been playing no problems for months, until today.

Any ideas? Can't find any information about this problem, I'm clueless.

****FIXED**** Something was causing the game to start in 3D mode, disable sterioscopic 3D in Nvidia control panel.

So I go check the Nvidia control panel and find this:

I unclick sterioscopic 3D setting, fire up Wreckfest and the 3D effect is gone. :)

Doing the Win 10 upgrade over Win 7 kept my current Nividia drivers, but somehow the upgrade enable the sterioscopic 3D setting.

If this not the problem you seeing Swaghetti, give the rest of know solution thread a look, see if you find a fix.

A few possibilities. 1: the game is using integrated graphics by accident and you need to create a profile for it in nvidia control panel or Radeon Crimson.

Is this happening on any other games?
If no, lower settings (turn off MSAA) and try again.
If it happens in others then you may need to clean install new graphics drivers.

Verify the game files to check the installation is good.
Well, thanks so far.

I assembled my system in march. And because of the current GPU pricing I had choosen the ryzen 5 2400g with the intergrated vega graphics. The windows 10 instalation is clean and new too. The drivers are up to date, according to AMD auto update.

Every other game, like for example Rainbow 6, is running fine on high quality and 60 fps.

Wreckfest was running fine too at first. In fact it is still running at 60 fps, just in the wrong colour scheme. Both games at 55°C max.

Strange thing is, that I can´t capture it in an scrennshot. But even in the loading screen, after starting the game, the small ghost in the BUGBEAR logo is blue and the Q in THQ is blue too.

Ok guys .... how do I say this.

I tried to take a screenshot with the windows snippin tool and the colours came out fine on this one also. So I figured out, that the problem had to be between the monitor and the output.

Giving the HDMI cable a small wiggle and now everything is as it should be again *sigh

Thanks for the help again.

The only question left is: why wasnt anything else (desktop, steam, firefox, youtube ... ) affected?

Could be more info needed to be transported along cable by games?

Thanks for this. Its one of the many common issues we clean forget about. Great work.

Also very helpful to know that 2400G plays nice with Wreckfest. I appreciate that info.
