Glutton For Punishment achievement working?

I've been grinding out this out using the lawn mower in a custom event.
Other achievements work with custom events and the 1 hour lawn mover achievement also worked however I feel as though I've gotten well over 100 "wreaked" and no achievement.

Has anyone gotten this achievement yet?

Were you using a normal car? or the Lawn Mower? I was using the Lawn Mower because it was fast to wreak.

I used the lawnmower on fairfield county and kept driving into the wall over and over.

ok.... so I guess this one only works in Demolition Arena.
I was doing this one in Banger Race for 1 hour straight because I didn't think it would matter, wreaking your car is wreaking your car and nothing.
Have done 25 so far in Demolition Arena and it hasen't popped yet which tells me it was not registering in Banger Race because I would have gotten it by now...

Adding to this the reason I think its this way is because when you crash out in a Banger Race it says DNF (Did not Finish) but when you wreak in Demolition Arena it places you as if you finished the event.

I give up on this one, I've done it over 120 times now on fairfield county Demolition Arena and it just won't unlock.

for me it works, fairfield country, demolition area mode, 23 AI enemys with derby cars, i am a little mower, runtime 15 minuts - and then crash, crash, crash.

ok so I did exactly what you did Look and got it after 70 crashes. I think there is something strange with what counts as a crash....

Demolition mode.
23 AI in B Class cars
You use the lawn mower.
It took me 20 minutes to get the achievement.

I got mine yesterday 10/24/19, playing crash canyon with my muddigger .. I got way behind early and the purposefully did over half the race going in the wrong lane/direction, hitting pretty much everypone .. I got the achievement as soon as my muddigger got wrecked, ie: went to 0 health.

but what are achievements and what are they for?
I see them pop up, just not sure why

They are just an extra feature, just something the a lot of games sold through Steam have.
Some players are really big on getting 100% achievements, some like me, are ok with getting what I get.
Just a little extra the devs did for us all......
