Constantly Disconnected From Lobbies
Hello,

I'm having a really frustrating issue of getting disconnected from every lobby I join. Once the lobby switches tracks after a race, it times out every single time. I tried re-downloading the game, my internet speeds seem fine, I turned down all the graphics as low as they can go and the issue still remains. Any suggestions? TIA

well this sound like no fun at all :(

i'm no technical expert, but i play a lot

and the folks who ARE technically inclined will be here soon

fist off they tend to want to know your specs so if you could provide that it may be helpful

other questions, what kind of ping were you playing at, does single player run smooth ? and also what part of the world are you playing from (general region will suffice)

What is happening is your HD is slower loading the tracks compared to the admins that are changing the tracks. A big suggestion is to turn off the grass and see if that helps.
I have turned the grass off and lowered each setting to the lowest bracket and it still persists.

specs:

processor: i7-4790 CPU @3.60GHz
ram: 8.00 GB
Game is Installed on external hard drive as well.

Whats the speed of your HD?
Any suggestions on how to do that? Do I need to download a program to test it? I have an ASUS system but I have never done that before. Lol, I am kinda new to this.
You have any other hard drives? Move WF to another drive. SSD is the best for it if you have one/space

I be suspicious it his internet connection causing the problem. Zeb had to deal with a flaky connection at times loading tracks. Even changing car, you can see his PING take off in the lobby.

Unless tracks load real slow offline too, Tracks at their worse, should load in 60 seconds.
I will try and move WF to my main internal hard drive and see if that fixes my issue.
I still seem to have the same issues, I also keep spawning under the track when joining lobbies. I'm sooooo frustrated, I have tried so many things..

Have you verified your game files for the loading under the track issue? Are you using wifi? Wifi never good for gaming.
I am using ethernet connection, and I have not. I will try that again.

Psssttt...GENERAL....just saw you pop in at Sue's :)

hang out next time bud..i'll turn off the track rotation and we'll SLOW IT DOWN with track changes

seee if that helps

after all if we can identify a few 'work arounds"...we're that much closer to identifying a solution :)

cya soon

Race, when I see players join, I watch their PING and wait to start race ( admin can hold up start of race if not to many Admins in the lobby ) until their PING has settled down and they rdy up.

Don't have to drop track rotation.

kill any other (none essential) processes, exit any screen capture/ recording programs, defrag the HDD wreckfest is installed on.
