Xbox Controller not recognized [FIXED]
windows 7 64bits
Nostromo & Strike 5 keyboard

I had problem with other games like darksiders to get the controller recognized (an official xbox 360 wired gamepad). But finally everything is going smooth exept for remember me.

Start select buttons work ok, dpad is ok but only in menus. Checking the web : i am not the only one with the problem.

Some ppl suggested to delete from device manager hid devices, i cant do tht (many devices needs hid). Uninstalling and deleting nostromo devices didnt change anything.

Can't we force detection through config files ?

I play with JoyInMotion drivers and my ps3's DualShock 3 controller. I had some issues with the controller too. At last, I figured that I just needed to remap the controls a bit to make it work. Have you already tried that?

I do have a wired xbox 360 controller. MotionInJoy is supposed to emulate an xbox 360 controller, it is usefull for dualshock or sixaxis gamepad.

If you do encounter the same problem just launch the game as admin

So, just to confirm, you resolved your controller issue by running the game as admin?

The Nostromo is at fault here. Regardless which controller you set up as primary device in the Windows game controller settings, if you have the Nostromo connected, it always sets itself as first controller. This behaviour has an impact on almost every controller based game, since most of the time, the second controller doesn't do anything.

There's an easy fix for this:
Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Device Manager
Open up "Human Interface Devices" and disable the "Razer Nostromo" game controller. That disables the Nostromo being detected as a game controller. The Nostromo itself is still fully functional with all its features.

This helped me out a ton, thank you!

You also could use the same fix as ubisoft games, for use wireless gamepad, it should work.
Copy in the same folder of the game .exe
