I am afraid thats not going to happen as long as Life is Strange continues to thrive.
Plus I believe the game was a financial failure. So I dont think Capcom is too keen on releasing a sequel.
But I read somewhere that the story/scenario for the sequel was written in 2015

The writter probably won't go back at it. This game was from the impulsion of a big french scifi writter who teamed up with ubisoft(rich dudes doing there ♥♥♥♥ together) and I've seen it once in an interview speaking about "his" game and the guy has strictly 0 clues about gameplay. Remember me had amazing stuffs on the gameplay side however, meaning that there was lots of talents involved BUT when the sponsor of the project is only interested in the remix phases it cannot work. I think it was on him, and there should never be a 2nd one, this guy will never have a clue, let game designers and developpers use their skills around more competent people :/.

fwiw, there's a book 'pandora's archives' which can be purchased for ~$5 on google play and 'Remember Me: Cubed' two stories connected to the world & the game. (Allegedly havent read them)

Came here to post this. I LOVED this game, the amount of high quality art assets they had in it is astounding. Would love a similar sci-fi game set in the same NeoParis. Doesn't even have to be a sequel, I just adore the setting.

The Combo during the selection process and fighting process confused the hell outta me, I gotta say next time they IF they do another not to make the Combo Selection Confusing as ♥♥♥♥, I do like the game but some of the Features put me off.

I dont think there is very much room for a sequel cause of how the game actually ends.
However I would realy like to know how Nilin became a prisoner and lost her memories despite who she is (dont know how to put this whitout to many potential spoilers)
so they could definitely make something like a prequel.

I think if they'd mapped each pressen to a dedicated command and leaned into the Arkham feel of combat that was faster and more flexible, they could have had something. It would have been a strain on the animation budget, but the flow of combat would not be stopped dead by swapping to a menu and tweaking stuff.

a remaster could potentially bring interest back to this game, apparently they did greenlit a sequel but capcom has the final say.. on whether it did well sales wise, id love a remaster with new content maybe tying into a prequel somehow, or showing us more of her family life, or a younger nilin, how she got her job & other new features, adding new gameplay & enhanced visuals.❤️
