Memory leak

I finished the game yesterday and I enjoyed it aside from the horrendous mouse controls AND a memory leak type of bug that dropped the game's framerate to single digits after about 40-50 minutes of play. Strange enough, while the mouse issue is well documented all over the place, I couldn't find anyone with the memory leak issue. Am I really the only one? The issue was very consistent but also fixable with quitting & restarting the game, so it wasn't such a major issue except when it'd reach its worst stage during a prolonged sequence (with no checkpoints in between) such as a remix or a boss battle (or a wave battle). For example, I fought the last boss with less than 10 fps, which made it pretty painful to try to get the combo timings right (but I still managed to beat it on the first try). I usually view the end credits of every game I play, but in this case I couldn't take the 2-fps feast for long (hopefully I didn't miss anything).

I have R9 380 (4GB), FX-8350 and Windows 10. I haven't come across an issue like this in at least a decade, and I'm able to run modern games such as Battlefield 1, Rainbow Six Siege and Deus Ex Mankind Divided at high settings with a smooth framerate.

It's probably an issue with Win10 & DX9.

Just out of curiousity, what did you Windows Desktop Manager look like. I haven't had this with this game but Lightning Returns caused WDM to eat up around 10 gigs RAM before that got fixed and just wondered.......Also if your using the Windows 10 Creators Addition see about turning off game mode unless yout use it. Some of it's default setting gave me trouble. Check and see if AMD is set up to optimise the game as some times I ran into the NVidia GeForce Experience changing my settings and trying to set up the games without me knowing it and causing trouble. (For Infor: System: i7-4790, 3.6 gig. 16 gigs. RAM, GTX-1060 Ti 6 gig GDDR5 RAM at 1920x1080i HD and SB 5.1 Audigy Sound. ) Hope this helps a bit......

For some reason WDM.exe isn't even an active process on my PC by default. I also don't have the Game Mode set on. I never had this problem with Lightning Returns.
