WHERE IS DORN!?
Okay, I finally bought BG: EE 1 and I'm trying to find where the new NPC's are located. I found the mage girl in Beregost (I think) and I found the monk in the same town Noober is in. But as for the other new NPC's, I couldn't figure out where they were located.

Dorn is located in the Friendly Arm Inn, on the first floor.

You can talk to him in the Friendly Arm Inn, but he won't join your group yet :)

Just continue with the main quest (investigate the ironmines in Nashkel).
There should be an encounter - which can't be missed - right before reaching the mines where you can finally recruit him.

It most certainly CAN be missed. Sometimes it fires sometimes it doesn't. You can get to the mines without it happening for sure though, since that has happened on several of my runs.

Hm, so far it always triggered for me.
Well, leaving aside some kind of bug, it should trigger on it's own.

First play through I tried going to the mines, it didn't trigger for me. Even though the wiki says that it will, regardless if you talk to Dorn or not. Second time, I talked to him first and then it activated.

If it doesn't trigger enroute to the mine, just travel between there and town; eventually it will trigger. This happened to me, even though I talked to him first. I got it on the rebound.

We are in the "(spoilers)" forum already.

It's not a spoiler forum. I flat out asked where Dorn is and how to get him.

If anybody is actually stupid enough to click this topic and then get mad at having the information revealed before they figure it out themselves, then that's their problem.

Not ours.

no, no, that isn't what I mean, this is the "spoilers" forum; I thought the blocked text was redundant and funny, so I got silly and tried to be a smart azz... see:

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition > BGEE general discussion (spoilers) > Topic Details

Ah, alright then.

In any case, I don't even know how to apply the spoiler tag, anyways. :(

I must be confusing you :D

My personal belief: Spoiler blocks/tags are silly because reading anything before doing it is a spoiler, so no one should ever get angry about someone not using them ;)

Since we are in a new spoiler forum that I've never seen before, I was just entertained by Kiryan's post. I thought I was being funny, but I guess it is only entertaining to me, sorry all.

To make a spoiler tag/block, just preceed the text with a bracket, the word "spoiler" and a close bracket: "[" + "spoiler" + "]" (all following text will be blacked out)
