Better did it proudly like CP2077, release it horrible then make it better slowly later.
It's weird to delayed game after reviews coming out, it's cowardly.

They are in an active war zone and Ukraine was just bomb very heavily. Show some respect. At least they are trying to fix the problem and release it as soon as possible

This project is dead before release. There's nothing to hope for here. I'm sorry for the dev's and for the people who looked forward to it.

That's only plays as an excuse, they are already sent review codes to gaming journalists, they did think the game was done in development and ready to distribute the game and then they saw the 2 first reviews in metacritic which is in the 40s by 2 outlets and decided to delay the game.
Cowardly move.

I seriously doubt a new studio with their first game would delay their game over 2 reviews.

Don't play it then when it releases...

Wouldn't pull a game due to metacritic. hardly a trustworthy site anyway. and look how many other games get bashed on there, review bombed etc.

like previous posters. Kviv was bombed, if you bothered to look at the news, it was pretty bad.

but hey, these developers should absolutely sacrifice safety to release for you.

I know i know Ukraine are on war right now, but it doesn't make any sense to delay a game which the think was ready for the public if not because they are being embarassed by the reviews and decided to work on the game more.

Well for whatever reason they delayed its probably a good thing because if they launch this game at 3 missions for 30$ ITS DONE game over.

I don't know what it is but Ukrainian devs seem especially underhanded in how they handle their games. I can't actually remember any game from a Ukrainian dev that looked like they advertised, played like they advertised, worked out the box or anything really.

Its only your problems what you remember or not. Metro series is world recognized and successful. While haters cry, ukrainian games have high steam ratings and success. It's a pity to live with amnesia.

What a shameful post. I wonder every time person like you winnies in the coment section. You didnt made pre-order of this game or even bought it. But still crying and screaming. This is what i called "wasting the air".

Every single Metro game has also launched in a very broken state and took a lot of work to get working on many systems. Outside of that you have the old Stalker games that are meme level buggy at this point even after all these years, Stalker 2 is still just a shell of what they advertised, The Sinking City was broken at launch, La Quimera is basically just a husk of a game that they tried to sell.

The list goes on.
