Audio And Video Sped Up

Up until few days ago the software was working like a charm and then it all went down the drain. Not a single setting has been changed nor anything about my system altered, everything is exactly the same except for Action. I've recorded dozens of gameplay videos and they are all practically useless.

My video and audio are in sync but slightly sped up. There are constant pops and snaps in the audio making every single video I've recorded in the last few days useless.

Settings:
MP4 (AMD APP)
1080p
60 FPS
High video quality
0-255 input range
MP4 audio output format
Enabled multicore recording


My system:
i7 4770 3.40 GHz quad
16GB of RAM
R9 280x 3GB

I've ran just about every possible setting layout and nothing worked. It simply won't recorded like it has been recording since the first day I bought it. Please don't tell me to contact your support, I just need an honest no BS explanation why something I paid for won't work anymore for no apparent reason. Give me an idea what to do, what to change, what to try, cause I've scoured the internet and couldn't find a single person offering a fix except for "report it".

How can I get the old Action! back?

I think the problem is with the MP4 (AMD APP) file format. Change it to AVI and if it works as good for you as it does for me the video quality is perfect (file size is rather large tho).
Before this the amd app file format used to gradualy desync my audio/video... looks like they fixed that up but now both get a speed boost xD.
This program is great and very practical, I just wish they would be a little more straightforward with us consumers and be like "hey we listened to you and are aware of this problem, it has something to do with X and well try to fix it asap" instead of the mechanical answere "report to our support team"

I had no speeding up on AVI, but the audio had the same issues as on MP4 (AMD APP), which stills means the videos were useless. Not that it matters cause the next day, Action stopped working completely, period. I got the FPS overlay but nothing would make it record.

I did a clean reinstall of windows and lo and behold, Action! is working. Still causing major issues on MP4 (AMD APP) 1080p but I can record AVI now, no speeding up, no sound issues, but majestic file sizes. But hey, at least it's working now.

I'm with you Ex, gotta be something about the MP4 format that's messing things up. Hope they get on that.

I have the same problem as well. Had the desynching problem with MP4 (AMD APP) before the patch and now the speed-up after the patch. Hoping for a fix.

I have a problem in both cases.

Untill now i used AVI,file size do not import me,and AVI has way better qualitty than MP4 AMD APP,but since yesterday,only with ETS2 i get final video VERY VERY laggy after recording....while recording i have no problem.

So,i tryed to change to MP4 AMD APP everything ok,qualitty is poor but after recording a 40 min video i realized the final video had only 28 min :))))))...changed to older version of Action! but still the same problem

It si curious that with Fraps i have no problem,so i can not say it comes from the game(OMSI2 records perfectly in AVI with Action!)

Can confirm this, it happens to me too. It happens in frequent intervals where the video and audio speed up a bit for a second or so, then returning to normal state. I record the video and system sounds via Action and record my voice with Audacity, I don't know if that has something to do with it.
The odd thing is that it doesn't seem to happen all the time. Footage of M&B: Viking Conquest that I did on 30th January didn't have any problems and some Warthunder footage on the 1st February didn't have any either. But footage of Project Reality did have this issue, making it ultimately not useable. Then footage of a Source mod today didn't have any problems. So apparently it depends on the game for whatever reason, atleast in my case.

8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M
Intel HD Graphics 4600
Headset: Turtle Beach PX22

My Action! settings
Recording mode: Games
MP4, 720p, 30fps
Enabled record system sounds
Microphone: Do not record

thank god, and thank you :D I've been having problems with the video slowing down, speeding up, having terrible fps issues, framerate skipping, etc. etc.

I am the person who posted that video. If you guys got the update, you should know that the issue was NOT fixed. I made another video showing how the recordings still speed up.
