Action wont pick up Microphone

I bought action to make videos for youtube but i cant get it to pick up my microhpone, Any suggestions?

Action will record my webcam, game, and game's audio perfectly, but for some reason no matter what buttons i press, (record audio and record mic included) i cant get action to pick up my mic's audio

Does your computer actually have a mic? You may need to buy a mic or a headset with a mic on it.

no i bought a mic and connected it to my computer

Do you use record microphone into separated audio track feature?

yeah, im using audacity as a seperate audio recorder because action! isnt picking up my mic, seperate editing software is heavily considered

i SEEM to have discovered the problem, action will record the game, game audio, and webcam, but it will only record the microphone AFTER all that, so whatever i say during the gameplay wont be recorded, but whatever i say after will be. how could i set it up so that i can record all that crap at once?

I found a solution,i had the same problem,so i was at the micropfone settings and i saw that the britate was at system default,so i turned it to 256kbps and it worked !! :D :))
