You could have easily said Fraps, PlayClaw, DXtory, or the other similar programs instead of the likes of XSplit and OBS so we wouldn't have this stupid discussion.
> sees a person with an anime avatar
> literally makes a sarcastic statement by mentioning anime pillows and whatnot
You're that kind of person who is going to be despised by many with a burning passion on the internet. I don't think you'll make many friends or acquaintances in your worthless little life.
And no, actually, I can already guarantee you're wrong, but thanks for trying the playground insult "you have no friends", sure makes you look all grown up and ready to go. At least I have more subtle ways of telling you that you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lifeless loser.
good for you mate, and at least I don't have to figuratively make a comment by including swear words in it to make myself sound like a grown up l o l :-)
You should make your points clearer about it "creeping ever closer to become a Xsplit clone", and I'm not sure if you know that Action! was initially a software solely used for local recording at first, and the livestreaming feature was implemented later, whereas Xsplit does the opposite.
I like the local recording of Action! so far, and livestream is still in development based on this quote,
As far as I can tell, you're currently having problems with a bunch of good developers trying to put more effort in doing extra (by implementing the livestream feature) rather than just develop the local recording and call it quits ages ago. This software is more of a competitor against Fraps, Dxtory and other local recording softwares. All this being said, I don't see how this is an XSplit clone (or OBS).
Honestly, it's quite mean to the developers when you make such posts on their software's hub when most of the other posts are providing suggestions/ideas, fixing issues, etc, and you just mindlessly came up with alternative products to contradict this.
You're probably just nothing but an annoying denialist.
