IDFA & IDKFA don't work properly

Really? I played DOOM back in 1993 and I don't recall that being the case.

doom2 1.9 in dosbox, doom2 unity don't give a backpack
gzdoom, prboom+, woof, helion all give a backpack

On the KEX port, I'm not sure if there is an equivalent that'd work in the "Cheats" section specifically, or in the classic way, but you can bring up the developer console with the Tilde key and type "give backpack" to get one.

They may've added it to idbehold; I believe some source ports do it, but if they didn't add it to idkfa they probably didn't for idbehold.

There's a separate Kex code to that, actually...try to find the post that has it on here and maybe you could add the cheat to the game? I think that it was called givebackpack or something.

You cant type a cheat or use the cheat menu to get a backpack but if you go to the console and type give backpack you will get a backpack

They mean specifically the idXXX kind of cheats when they say to type one in, rather than console commands.
