Nobody asked for it, but I also hear nobody complaining, you get your two wad files you need for every source port out there in one neat package. It's handy.
In fact they should have made us rebuy the games in a new $60 bundle or $35 per game. With each addon being a $15 DLC purchasable with premium currency that only comes in $20, $40, and $100 packs and are both region and currency locked. If only we lived in a perfect world.
$70 per game, obviously.
Oh woe is us, why would they do this...
The contents itself isn't the gripe, the gripe is its naming in catalog so new players see "DOOM + DOOM II" together with "DOOM" which is (2016) and that may be confusing - why product titled GAME + GAME II does NOT include GAME?
would it make more sense to name it "DOOM (Classic pack)"? maybe, but whatever
I think the only way this could possibly be confusing is if you genuinely aren't aware there were any DOOM games prior to 2016, which you probably wouldn't think if you have the classic games.
