I think it could be nerfed a litte bit due to fact that it really is frustrating getting headshotted by pure luck which happens in H&G quite often by even non skilled player with mp40 co. but i also think it shouldn't be nerved to death sooo this will be hard to decide

hmmm nerving mp40 und co so it only oneshots with mods really wouldn't do the trick either

I think semi auto guns really aren't used as often due to the fact of the fully auto guns often times win in near combat if you really not a pro in semi rifle shooting
and you still mostly need a good moded g43 or have a good aim

On the other side close combat guns like the flamethrower will get buffed throw nerving mp40

10 minute thinking conclusion: semi auto weapon should stay the same, mg and mp and stg and co. should be more of a 2 hit with mods so you can't be killed to fast by campers or lucky headshoots like we have with heavy set gold

I took 2.0 facto due to 2.5 these weapons really are used often by all factions and the other factors 3.58 really doesn't change anything and 2.78 only drives people to mod weapons
Yeah, guys with good aim are pure luckers, lmao, crybabyes with bad aim, weapon doesnt matter, only pistols mb on long range, in reality 3.58 are most reality, nerf weapon mods - to new player feeel comfortable, ok, but nerf headshots for low skilled crybabyes, and game will become CoD

See, it would be best if you implement the helmet as extra hit box.

Full rifle and intermediate cartriges: 100% kill chance if face is hit 99% kill chance if helmet is hit 1% helmet deflection chance

Pistol rounds: 100% kill chance if face is hit, 60% Kill chance if helmet is hit 40% deflection chance

i think rifles should only be the ones to hold the 1hit headshot standard,maybe a few LMG's if its realism,but god im so sick of people building smgs to be ranged weapons

Dude, these devs have figuratively been slinging :poop: at their playerbase since it was in beta. Nearly every single change to the game has been near-universally booed as being an utter downgrade, with the exception of Armor 2.0. There may have been one or two other changes of low significance that were approved, such as nerfing the scopes for infantry, where in fact most experienced players requested having them REMOVED outright.

So these devs are really good at listening to their playerbase. And then doing the contrary of what they ask for. The game has been dying since before it was released, but because the fundamental concept is unique, long-time players stick through the extreme frustration.

But mark my words, the moment another game is born with such a huge scale WAR mode, this game will be emptied out instantly. :heart: the concept of this game, but the implementation is :poop:

In my opinion, if it is true that each headshot must kill a player, it only applies according to the realism of the game and its physics, Heroes & Generals for example apply a lot of physics, but be careful with the players themselves, either they are new or not, comfort. "A lot of realism is good for us" say some, but not others, although from the perspective of real life a shot kills a person if the impact is on the head varies according to the person, race or anatomical structure among other factors. It is true that many headshots occur in the game and some are justified, for example the comment "compare the damage of a pistol with that of a rifle" is true.

That is why I support the fact of changing certain "Meters to kill with a shot in the head with each branch of the weapons, be it SMG, Pistol, Precision Rifles among others and their damage in the head of the same".

I think a short range headshot should be deadly with almost any weapon BUT little pistols (the helmet is not made of silk). What I can't understand is why if I shoot (short range) in the chest with a full modded bolt action rifle, the enemy is "perfectly ok" he can turn kill you and run hopping like frog, does it makes any sense to anyone?

If I was a dev in this game I would add a system to hurt the enemies, like shooting in the leg reduce your running speed and/or resistance, shooting in the arm would make more difficult to aim, and of course being shot in the heart is totally deadly.

No , it will only makes you more sad as a casual because you don't scored head shot that often ,
This is a big middle finger to realism , bolt action is already bad at damage , now they make it worse .

Im a casual and i have hell of a fun from tarkov and hll , because we don't need to aim for head like most try hard did .

i as a Escape from tarkov player 100% AGREE with what you just said
and in fact they already did that with the armor 2.0 update but on tanks
i don't know if retoX the 9 year old browser engine can deal with that many different hitboxes moving so fast around
especialy with the fact that you always have over 90 ping in every single battle

Exactly, I don't know enough to discuss about the capability of the engine of this game to support it, but I see that it records when you are killed by a torso/leg/arm hit. So maybe they should consider to implement a "weaken" system like the one for vehicles. Specially if they plan to "nerf" headshots. But it's only my opinion. I think it was like that in RO2.
