Let's talk PPSH-41!
The PPSH costs 241k silver currency, which seems extraordinarily expensive. I already have a modded MP40, and I'm pretty happy with it. According to the stats page, the PPSH performs worse than the MP40 in every category except magazine size.

So I find myself asking, Is this thing even worth buying? I don't have much currency, and I feel like I'd prefer to blow my hard earned silver on a new vehicle or something else considering I already have an argueably better sub machine gun in the MP40. Does anyone have any feedback on the PPSH?

That's why this game is not P2W , i would buy PPSH just beacause how it looks and FG42.
If PPSH is more powerful in any way every one would have PPSH by now .

Clip size is important. Plus the thing can carry tons of ammo.

However, without the right badges, its fire spread is like a blunderbus ... and even then it is not as accurate as an MP40.

it's good for outlasting an enemy attack if your solo defending, as you have a large ammo stock, however, its unmoddable, so you can't fix it's stats. I personally stick to my fully modded thompson.

I use it with hoarder (no clips on the ppsh) and the bazooka/panzershreck when the enemy has tanks. It's very useful since you get over 200 rounds with hoarder gold.

ive seen plenty of clips and fired most weapons in this game bought all with silver and unlocking the long painful way , now i dont play the german side all that much but i do like there smgs over the usa ones yeah the tommys nice but i find also a big kick with a long spray ( yes i know dont use long sprays then) but this video kinda sells the phss for me, of course it doesnt mean i would do as well as the guy in this video does .. but it does show what it can do , you be the judge.

Sometimes reloading time kills you, 71-rounds-mag making the odds better for you.

Cool video. Thanks for sharing. It was interesting to see how the guy's strategy adapted to the gun. He held down the trigger before he entered buildings and just sprayed bullets in every direction because he didnt have to worry about running out of ammo. Pretty cool!
Still, I don't think I want to drop 240k on this thing. I guess I'll buy a half-track instead

"200k credits in 1 day" is the correct name as he is using veteran membership which gives a bonus 50% (100k) . Only a minority of the players have that bonus. Also why is he using Dynamite Lover over Heavy Set when he never seems to use up all his base amount of nades anyway?

Point is you can play with stock thompson/mp40 and do just as well or better, just adding FA hair trigger and DCL barrel immediately makes thompson and mp40 way superior to PPSh, while costing almost nothing to repair (especially not the 90-120k credit difference of buying a PPSh over thompson/mp40)

those are questions your gona have to ask the player themself , its not me in that video i just viewed it and felt it showed a good reason to use the ppsh, as i said in my post " of course it doesnt mean i would do as well as the guy in this video does .. but it does show what it can do " far as addressing the title of the video again its called 300k creds in one day and thats what he made . at no point did i see in the video would only make X amount if vet player or Y amount if ftp player , its his video his title of it you want to correct him then goto youtube and leave your comments there on how he should title his videos.

Don't bother with the hlaf track, in theory its great and would be fun, but unless you are using it with a group of trusted people, you won't get much use out of it.
I got one thinking mobile spawn would be helpful in pushing objectives. unfortunately...
1. If its not being blown up by your own soliders it's being unlocked by them.
2. If its not being unlocked by allies it already has been and they are trying to use it as tank and getting it blown up.
3. If they have not already unlocked it they are using the MG gun while its deployed, giving way its postion to the enemy who then blows it up.
4. if no one is using the MG gun, no one spawns on it because they don't know they don't know how or think its a bad choice
5. If people are spawning on it, they/others are blowing it up.
The only use I have gotten out of the half track is it to carry 8+ soliders from spawn to the point we are capping before it gets blown up. And its not worth spending 3,000-4,000k credits repairing it after each match.
Now the Russians are out, would it be worth a Russian soldier buying a PPSH or would it be better to stick with the PPDS?

What is dead may never die, but rises again, harder and stronger... am I right, Toooobeh? :D

the PPSh is basically a PPD with more rate of fire... the price might not be really worth it but, if you have enough credits, why not!
SimranZenov 24 MAY 2015 a las 8:25
PPSH is the best for clearing rooms since mods can make it 1028 rpm (higher than any other weapon I think). However its crazy bad accuracy makes it ONLY good for that. If you want a balanced spray weapon on the Soviet side I go with the DP-28 LMG (2-3 shot kills with great accuracy)

I use LMG on my infantry and PPSH on my paratrooper

I've modded my PPDs to be accurate at medium range as well as short range. Would it be possible to do the same with the PPSH?
