you need to be lv 12 to use an at (Assault Team) unit
That's correct, gold is awarded from the fps part, and its only 4 gold for your first win on the day.
You also gain warfunds which helps you resupply them or buy more of them as you level up. Warfund rewards are based on what the players in your team kill in the battle. So if you have a guy running around blowing up enemy heavy tanks in one battle then you can get lots all at once.
But most importantly you get to actually interact with the game and understand how the campaign system actually works. Though its the most fun if you also get on teamspeak and get involved with the people there.
What I was initially gettin at was, "Does the campaign strategy portion benefit my Commanding Officers at all?" IE give him xp and non-warfund currency if the Assault Team performs well?
warfunds are rewarded as well
