How many hours and what ranks?

Hi guys. I'm curious as to how long it took people to get to a certain rank with a certain number of men. After playing the game for 150 hours, I've gotten a soldier to rank 9 and a tank crewman to rank 5 without any veteranship or spending any money on anything. I'm not sure if that's a long time to get those two guys up to that point or if it's quick...

How about you though? How long was it till you got your first man to officer, or lieutenant? How many men do you have and what are your current hours? I'm interested to know, so brag away!

I have somewhere in the region of 130 combat hours on 3 characters. A US Infantry 2nd Lieutenent (12), a US Recon 1st Sargent (10) and German Infantry at rank 3-4, haven't played him in a while, he probably has something like 4-5 hours of combat time out of that 130ish.

I did buy the 90 day veteran membership after about 2-3 days of starting the game and I have just over 40 days on that left.

450 hours, 9 characters. One general(old main char), one colonel(new main char), one major, others are a mix of sargents.

i got 300+ hours and most of em i just wasted in General map.
but of cause it takes many hours and battles to get a new rank.
but it all depens on how well you do in the battles. i normal get 500-2000 exp each battle.
win or lose.
so if you only get 100+ exp it takes forever

Fastest way to raise in rank is play staged battle skirmishes or skirmishes on the war map. But on the war map one usually gets thrown in to crazy Odds, or you could encounter a whole clan on the enemy team.

2K hours, 44 'soldiers' and 1 general.
Of my soldiers, 14 of them are rank 12 or greater.

i have 2 main characters, rank 14 and rank 13......... took months to get them to this rank........grind grind grind :D
