Increase Squad Size to at least 5 people!
Please, I hope the developers read and consider this thoroughly, squad size of 3 people is FAR too small, I see 3 people as a minimum for a squad to go into battle, but 5 people is FAR more reasonable, and 9 realistically so. Teamwork shouldn't just be 3 people it should be coherent between 5 people for successfull offensive and defensive operations.

Developers I really hope you consider this, please... I cannot stand running around with only 2 other people to watch my back only to see them mowed down and myself left alone.

if it is a squad not made by matchmaker you can edit it using squad leader points - yep squad leader ribbon take a look there, with this points you can change a few things on it. in future reto may change the squad made by matchmaker for something like that...

You can increase your Squad Size, the only Problem is that you need to squad up with at least 1 Person to do so, what is quite annoying.

Another poster who doesn't understand the game mechanics...

You earn more squad points by leveling your squad leader and squad member ribbons thus allowing you to make larger squads.

But only when you squad up with someone... or am I wrong?

i think you are right, other way it is not considered a squad right now, matchmaker squads can't be edited for now...

After your squad is formed and say you finish a match and the players stick around, you can add slots.

But yeah I think right now it's only if you make a squad with friends, but thats the whole point of squads anyway.

Like old squad system better, older system could use a few tweaks to make better but it was ALOT better than this stupid ♥♥♥♥... size of 5 in oold compared to 3... 2 squad tanker recon pilot ! like wtf!

I'm honestly glad this new system pushes people into finding other players and making squads as opposed to having 18 people all doing whatever they want in battles.

@Pogey-Bait Whereas now... People do whatever the heck they like and ignore the squad system. I loathe this new system (apparently in common with most players) but decided to give it a few days to see if I could live with it. What I've discovered is that one in ten or one in twelve "squad leaders" actually issue orders and when they do, even fewer players follow them.

Taking myself as an example, on many occasions I found myself in squads with someone typing on a Cyrillic keyboard, someone who just ran off and did whatever they like and ignored what the others were doing and me, trying to follow (or be) the squad leader. This system isn't working. I can see what they were intending, but they chose the wrong audience for it in Unbalanced Staged Battles... I can see it working in War, but not with a bunch of completely randomly matched players who don't really care about it.
Seiko Matsumoto May 30, 2016 @ 5:25am
I don't have friends so I just follow the random squad leader's orders.
Amarillon May 30, 2016 @ 5:28am
@TGS-Gamer As I say immediately above, I'm the same, except that only a small fraction of squad leaders that 've seen have actually issued orders. I do, when I'm put as leader, but most of the time, they're ignored.

in a game where the soldier is more a mercenary than a soldier (as we purchase the equipment and we repair it), it is hard to demand someone to obey orders, lol
