M10 Wolverine vs. M18 Hellcat

What's the best? they both have 76mm cannon but the M10 has faster velocity shells than the hellcat. Which is best?

your call, both have weak armor and an open top, hellcat is alot faster and the wolverine has faster shells, personally i enjoy the speed and sleek profile of the hellcat but if you want the m10 its not a bad choice

The hellcat has better speed and turret traverse, but they are both decent tanks. Use whichever you can afford to purchase/repair/rearm but keep in mind the M10 is a little cheaper in all aspects than the Hellcat.

noooo nooo it doesnt....9.5 to 57.2 mm is not the same as a sherman....

Although an interesting side note is that they experimented with a couple different guns in the design portion of the M10. One of the first ones tried was a 105mm howitzer. Imagine if we had a TD with that baby.

Thou I can see why they went with the smaller gun. I imagine the 105 to be simply too much recoil and firepower for the frame.

Well, M10 if you want a reliable TD that is cheap to repair with no real downsides aside from armor and the slow turret traverse speed. Hellcat is superior in terms of damage, it being able to two hit kill mediums while the M10 3 hit kills mediums. Went up against a lot of T-34s and it was always 3 hit kills. When I went up agaisnt TDs they were 2 hit kills.

So all in all, the Hellcat is superior to that of the M10, howerver, the M10 is cheaper overall so if you lose a lot of tanks often, you might want to go with this cheaper alternative.

The 3 inch gun on the M10 sounds 10x better than the Hellcat's.

Every medium and TD I have shot with the M10 has died in 2 hits. If the 2nd shot didn't kill it, it usually burned to death after the 2nd hit anyway.

-Supposedly the M10 reloads faster.
-The armor still sucks, but is better than the M18
-largerer and taller but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the M10 pretty.
-No ugly ass giant megaphone on the turret. 10/10
-Need to unlock HE shells for anti-inf capabilities.
-Half the cost of m18 per death. ggwp

EVery T-34 I fought agaisnt only died after the third hit. UNless they were already damage I would set them on fire, but when you're fighting agaisnt a T-34-85, setting him on fire can end up with the both of you dead since he only needs two hits to take you down. But agaisnt any other TD, it 2 hit kills them. Againast mediums I assume it's pretty much 3 hits to take em' down.

Hellcat's 76mm is basically tho same as friggin 3 inches dude, do your math. 76mm = 2.99213
