I think the only advantage of converting to general is these 6 points he gets (6 you earn before rannk 18) and the ability to buy any type of ATs (para, tank, pilot, infantry).
That's it
warfunds
I have already 2 generals (1 promoted and 1 purchased) and all my other soldiers are level 17 max ( level 17 with the extra 2.5 mill exp) and each one have 6 command points (4 for rank 17 plus 2 more for war victory ribbon) but that its i like to play the rts part!
so once i unlocked general, how do I earn money (Not going inside a game to shoot enemies)
Remember that you can have MULTIPLE soldiers, like a general character, and infantry characters to play with.
And remember once you hit rank 18. you DONT become a general automatically, its optional like all other career classes.
Once you switch to general, you CANT go back to infantry.
Thats why there are multiple confirmation screens once you want to convert to general with that character.
