stealing vehicles
I shoot the driver of an enemy tank, start stealing his tank and he respawns in the tank while i am stealing it and drives off.

I thought the option to respawn in a vehicle while an enemy is stealing it was disabled?

The same guy died as a tanker, switched to an infantry and somehow respawned in his tank before i shot him a second time and started stealing it, but thats another question.

It's not normally possible to respawn in your own tank, but pay attention to where the tank is, relative to spawn zones. Some players are smart enough to repair their tanks near spawn zones owned by their own faction, so that they can respawn as infantry and reclaim it should somebody try to steal it from them.

If you don't have the tank thief badge, it's very likely that they can reach their tank before you can steal it.

no the tank was surrounded by friendlies, and far away from their spawn by about 2 checkpoints. he was doing the drive to enemy spawn and camp with HE, but stuck his head out for some reason.

apc likely or kamikaze drive to the tank and jumped back in

Any enemy vehicles nearby? APC or truck hidden on blindside of the tank you were trying to capture, or another enemy tank anywhere near?

happened to me so many times, bug or cheater I guess... there're so many of 'em :steamfacepalm:

they are too many cheaters, and they are protected. i have seen people who teleport to my position without apc too far away from they spawn after i killed him in like 2 seconds he appear behind me on d4

no, just me and my team surrounding the tank beside our spawn.

general concensus seems to be it was a cheater.
