New russian LMG's

hi has anyone tested the 2 new russian lmg's and if so lemme know how good they are compared to the old dp-28 thx :)

The Maxim Tokarev is worse than the Dp 28 because of the sway but the Dt 29 is pretty good if you get alonge with the sighs

Don't want to disagree as I did not played a lot with it, but I have to say that it's a beast in every situation... as long as it has the bipod deployed.
If you meet an enemy over 50 meters without bipod, you better pray that you are lucky or that he doesn't see you (or uses a a gun for range, such as M1M2)

you use it, like a SA in such situations, fire single shots. 505 rpm is for singleshots very good and yes this gun is heavy so you need a bit practice but it is still the same like you use an old M1919.

For using a 2hk build I was expecting it to have a lot less accuracy and huge sway, making it almost impossible to be used effectively without a bipod.

I would say that Maxim is like a MG42 with an very low rate of fire. The sway is similar and you gotta burst fire all the time to hit further targets. The clear sights and large magazine are the only advantages over the DT. I find myself struggling to hit moving targets even at close range when they do the left-right shifts. You have to contend with a moving gun trying to hit a moving target. But I agree it’s more fun as it feels like you are carrying a powerful mg
