Getting Experience levels up the pilot's rank, which increases the hourly Credits salary.
If you are not currently at the level to acquire a pilot (or, like me, you suck at piloting), I recommend a paratrooper class. Paras do not need to spawn vehicles ($) to arrive at the Objectives. Typically, a generic para will not have the expensive explosive toys. SMGs can be the most expensive weapons to maintain, but with a para this cost is offset by being in the action most of the time.
Paras will not come close to the economy of good pilots, but they almost always give a positive cash flow with little effort.
2. Pilot: The reconnaissance breads are extraordinarily cheap only 50c per spawn, in this case by the fact of 60 ~ 85 xp by enemy plane shot down theoretically is the best way to make money, given that can focus on planes of enemy paratroopers, I would say that the fighters tier1 are excellent for a Df but at this point I only see germany as a good eagle of the sky.
3. Tank: Use HE on target def/attack with cheap tanks such as Panzer 3, M4a1 Sherman, T34 / 76 since the spawn of both is relatively cheap. The same is said about ammunition, the early tanks are also great for that purpose as much as to unlock others.
4. Sniper: If you have a good "aim", make sure you target a target, or at least hurt it at over 206m. I suggest you take this class so that your modifications are extremely expensive to maintain (if you're looking for a high-precision rifle is that it only kills with a single hit .. but you can guarantee easy 60xp if you kill an enemy more than 206m up, a little less if you hurt him.
