Policy on Names

So I know that Reto bans people with Nazi names username like "Adolf Hitler" and such, but can you get banned for having a Nazi squad/weapon/character name? Because I was just in a game with someone who had the squad name "Einsatzgruppen" and an MG42 named "Bane of the Polish". Can he get banned for that?

I agree with this. I would not have a problem with actual German Army squads such as the 1st Schutzstaffel or whatnot. But blatant NaZi and Holocaust related names are just stupid.

My problem is that is this a WW2 game or not? How come the hammer and sickle are allowed when the soviets killed millions of their own people or the US when it fire bombed civilian cities/ dropped two atomic bombs on civilian cities.. justify those all you want but they should have been considered war crimes as well. The Nazi's were not the only people doing bad things. I know the Nazi's were on a different level, but it's history. As someone said using blatantly holocaust related names is something else.

Because there is also something called money. Not being a smart ass about it but if they want the game to be allowed in germany then this needs to be done.

Having this kind of name as an account name will grant you a permaban, and don't think that circumventing the word filter with stuff like "AAdolff Hiiiltter" will work, as you might be banned after someone reports you.

The name will be replaced to something like "Please rename this" and you won't be refunded any of the credits that you spent renaming the said thing.
