Then the only way to balance it is to give the corruptrons the ability to build with the dirt to make a ramp and reach the crystal. While this would be awesome, it would be really hard to pull off and keep the other features in check.
This ! One hundred times this ! Would be awesome if the game actually had complexity. Maybe if they can't path to your castle/crystal, they actually start building bridges and stuff to get to it?
Something like the corruptrons are actually an army, so when you're ''far'' into the survival mode (maybe starting at wave 20-30 I don't know), they start to bring catapults and siege weapons and ''abominations''-type corruptrons (huge enemies that destroy walls faster and stuff). I love the game but, right now, it lacks depth....a lot.
