Laser shoots slowly

Sometimes after playing for a time, the laser gun seems to shoot alot slower than it's supposed to, i'm not really sure if it has to do with playtime, or when changing levels or something.

If I get hit with the bug, it stays on that save till I start the level over again or choose another level by using custom level.

I was actually wondering about this myself. I grabbed the Lasergun in Dunes, and when I used it, it felt really slow in terms of firerate. It seems like the Minor Biomechanoid shoots slower, as well.

I've got a video of it here, firing 100 shots.
