With Serious difficulty multipliers in place, obviously.
they are a real life menace and there needs to be more games the represent the furry plight.
Voting in general hasn't been implemented yet because it's not much of a priority, plus of these opinions of people that votekicking should not be implemented, so it's still more a discussion point rather than a feature in the pipeline.
I'm not sure how people's opinions are about this in other games, so maybe someone can enlighten me on that.
Like theres some servers that are freeplay and anyone can join and play as long as they want without being kicked and some have kicking enabled where they can join but can still be kicked.
I play with a group that runs through sam games every saturday and the reason we dont play revolutions is because theres no votekicking and some "pausing" issue i've heard where a player paused the game for the whole server and no one knows who it is, and they can't do anything about it being paused, or has that issue been solved?
There's an option "Clients can pause" which you can set to false.
Two questions.
1. Why isn't voting a priority? For a game where co-op is a pretty big part it seems rather strange that letting players vote on changing the difficulty or changing the map is not much of a priority.
2. What exactly are the benefits of not having the ability to votekick?
Also, I'll make sure that "clients may pause" defaults to false in the next patch.
You saw how we acted during our events. We weren't exactly the greatest people to play with, were we? (at least to anyone not in the group) Riddle me this: what if people like us decided to join a Revolutions server and ruin it for other people? What if Normie wants to set up a game for a couple of his buddies but can't because a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will join, spamming the segregation gospel of Moonman and Johnny Rebel, wasting coin-op lives and generally being a complete hindrance to any enjoyment? You can't get rid of them. You either deal with them or leave which means you don't get to enjoyf a game you paid for. Poor Normie can't even set a password on the server because apparently you took that feature out too.
Of course people will be sad if they get kicked from a game. I bet you more people will be pissed off that they can't get rid of some jackass who's ruining the game for everyone else. At least make votekicking a toggleable option so if you want a server to be open for everyone, they have that choice. Don't take choices away from people.
48 man Sam would be pretty awesome, but I suppose if we wanted to have it as an event, we'd need to get pirated copies that don't connect to Steamworks.
