game constantly crashing to desktop on final level of TSE

I'm trying to load into a game of the final level of TSE in co-op but it consistently crashes my whole game about 10 minutes in no matter what I do. First it starts stuttering every 10 ish seconds and eventually it hard crashes. I've never had this issue playing SSCR, I've tried uninstalling all my mods, deleting all the game files and reinstalling the game.
