No Sound
So, my classic serious sam games desided it was time to go slient and take all sound out of the game. I have no idea what to do at this point
Ive tried everything i can with my own and some friends knowledge. But i cant seem to fix it. Even with downloading the EAX Drivers and system audio drivers Updated, no budge. The HD series and anything beyond that works with no flaws. its only Revolution. The Alpha and the Second Encounter and the First Encounter that are having the issue.

If theres anything you guys can help me with please let me know, Im up for anything

Did you try reinstalling or verifying game cache? Restart Steam or your pc? Only things I can really think of unless you somehow muted the game either in the options or in Windows using the volume mixer.

Tried all of that saddly, I though it was my copy of Windows 10 but it seems to be all the serious sam titles execept the HD series or anything after. I had sound before, But i dont anymore in the First Encounter. Second Encounter and Revolution. The HD series is fine and serious sam 3 is fine. Maybe it was a new driver update or somthing.

Not also to mention i have a headset (Razor Kraken) and i disable all other sound devices with only the headset enabled. This just Randomly Happend... i have no clue what is going on

Have you tried changing sound system in options from "DirectSound" or "EAX" to "WaveOut"?

Yep. Nothing in the options seem to do anything. :\

There might be another solution.
I don't know how about win 10 but in win 7 you can assing different programs to different sound devices.

Once I had sound problem only to realize that the program was sending sound through HDMI and not my headphones. Even if other devices are disabled.
You may want to check that.

Where whould I check for hdmi? Whould it be in the symbols? I have a BenQ 144hz with dvi atm with a hdmi AOC as the second so hos should disable that? (Also again thank you for the help)

Right click on the speaker icon in bottom right corner of your screen and select "volume control mixer" or something similar to that (I don't have english version of win so I'm not sure)

Then launch the game and see if it appears in applications tab (on the right).
If not, on the left side you should have "Devices" tab with drop down option to select other available devices. (In my case there are: Headphones, HDMI output, and Sound card output.)

Go through all devices and try to find the game.
That's all you should do for now.

Ok maybe try to change sound device ingame.
To do that open console "~" or F1 and type "/snd_iDevice ="
After "=" enter a number. Default is -1.
Game will freeze for a second or two and then console will print data about selected device.
Go through untill you see that opened device is not changing.
Doing this while level is loaded is good idea as you will (hopefully) hear music playing.

If this doesn't work I cannot help you.
