Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Steam says I own Serious Sam Gold Pack, but will also let me buy it!?
I noticed that the Serious Sam Gold Pack is on sale: http://store.steampowered.com/app/901553/

Now I was pretty sure I owned this already, and the page says the game is in my library, but if I view a list of Serious Sam games by searching the store, it does NOT say it's in my library. It will also let me add it to my cart.

If I go to purchase it, it says that I will not receive an extra copy of 'Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter', 'Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter', and 'Serious Sam Classics: Revolution'.

What else is there in this? According to my Steam account history, I purchased the 'Serious Sam Gold Pack (ROW)' in 2011. So what is this Gold pack? Is this something different? Am I missing something?

It contains both HD versions and Classic versions + Revolution.
Steam always lets you purchase games that you already own but only as a gifts. You can send them to your friends.

Steam usually greys out the 'Purchase for myself' button when attempting to purchase a game you already own. :S

May not apply for bundle packs

It does. For example, I cannot buy the Star Wars Classics Collection bundle because I already own all the games in it: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/103220

The 'Purchase for myself' button is greyed out. This leads me to the assumption that I must not own something in Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition, even though the store page says it's in my library. The store page does not say specifically what's in it, so I do not know what I am missing, if anything, or if this is a bug.

Maybe the classic games are causing this as they're obtainable only through bundles. You can't buy them separately. Probably Steam gets confused about that.

If that's the case, why does The Serious Sam Complete Pack not behave in the same way? The Serious Sam Complete Pack also contains 'Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter' and 'Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter', but when I add that pack to my cart, the 'Purchase for myself' button is greyed out as expected.

Well that's weird. Your profile actually says that you do not own Serious Sam Second Encounter HD.

Well that's...odd. It's definitely in my library, I can see it under 'Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter'.

Even more bizarely, in my profile's list of games is 'Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter Player Models', which is DLC for 'Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter'.

It's not possible to buy DLC for a game on Steam if you do not already own the base game, so that alone should mean that 'Serious Sam HD: The Secound Encounter' should appear in my games list on my Steam profile, as I do own it!

EDIT: I added 'Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter' to my cart. The 'Purchase for myself' button was greyed out because Steam said I already owned it, which makes sense.

EDIT2: 'Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter' now appears in my Profile's list of games. I had to download it overnight, in order to put some time into it to see if it would appear.

Unfortunately, the original issue with the 'Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition' being available for me to purchase on Steam still remains.
