Nothing, it's literally the same games but with more content, just that everyone hates it because some people have technical problems with the game, and the extra campaign it has is garbage, but if you don't have technical problems with it, play it, it's the same ♥♥♥♥
Some features from classics Sams are broken, so I can't call it the "same" as classics. It's a downgrade of classic Serious Sam's.
But thank you all for a response! This is exactly what I've been looking for. I don't plan on ever doing multiplayer, so I will take this into consideration.
By the way, what's up with HD versions? any issues with them? Are they done properly, like, only better graphics and no extra bugs/nothing broken? If so, then HD would probably be the way to go for me
Thank you, i think i got all the info i needed. Shame about directional gravity, but it was no more than like an engine capability demo in original SS's anyway, so I will probably not miss them much.
Is it really impossible to contact Croteam or whoever was developing this project, and simply talk about possible fixes, what has been already discovered etc? It seems to be the easiest thing on the planet to do for people related to Croteam already.
Not sure why it cannot take place for like 30+ months? No work force to work on this project atm? I undestand. But make online meeting, spend 2-4h to discuss, make some conclusion, and put official statement about the future of the project - is it really too much work over 3-4 years period?
I get you man. Atm the only one you can contact is me (not to be arrogant), but I'm not involved in this project anymore since Croteam took back the project and I'm not part of Croteam.
I was in Alligator Pit which is a dead team now. I applied to work for SS:R before it gets out early access. I got ignored.
The conclusion is that Croteam just doesn't care about this game anymore and that probably all of the members don't have any knowledge anymore on SE1 as it's too told - they wouldn't even know fixing the bad synchronizations.
I am unsure if management team has changed, but it feels its not the same Croteam it was back in the days. And to be 100% understood correctly - current version is miles behind the old Croteam
