I don't buy games that sabotage themselves.
Not the reason why everyone avoid denuvo. Obvious that people that post "only reason why you don't want denuvo is because you want to pirate it/get it for free" don't have a clue what it even is or why people don't buy the game. Don't worry your not alone. A lot of you people out there. A few reasons are- hurts performance, it is spyware and dunuvo is pointless as it is not going to loose a sale that is not going to happen anyway. Just costs devs more to put it in. You can go look at a list of the highest selling games and will see the highest SELLING games DON'T have denuvo and games tend to sell better without it.

you can follow the link in the forum page to read more about it.
has a list of reasons PAYING customers don't want Denuvo in their games
Including FPS loss / hardware degradation due to constant second by second checking of your files / 3rd party controlling when and where you can play your paid for games
https://exputer.com/news/games/games-become-unplayable-as-denuvo-servers-go-down/
Denuvo already has gone down previously, making all PAID games LOCKED OUT FROM USE for its PAID customers (for an entire weekend no less....)
Denuvo is the same group that made SecuROM, the DRM that went bust and left a whole bunch of games unplayable forever more.... so the precedent has already happened once before

TL:DR
Basically you are paying for the Devs to give hundreds of thousands of dollars to a 3rd party, for them to have the ability to lock you out of your paid game at any point in time, including if they can't be bothered paying for their own domain registration for the authentication server, again.
Here's hoping they do right by their customers.
I would understand if the DRM was implemented only for a short time (few months, 6 months, 2 or 3 years) to ensure lots of gain AND if said company is actually willing to remove the DRM. However, I would NOT understand it if for other nonsensical reasons the DRM isn't removed at all even after some time has passed.
Wonder if part of the $100,000's of thousands Denuvo charges Devs is used in online astroturfing/'marketing' on online forums to pump 'its great use it!!' glowing reviews and shout down people with negative experiences to encourage future sales
Like those games that come out with glowing 0.2 hour reviews that all smell fishy
Steam forums aren't just legitimate gamers these days anymore
You should always treat with suspicion anyone who advocates for arguing against their own interest (in this case a supposed 'customer' arguing that they enjoy being locked out of their purchases through a 3rd party not even bothering to register their own domain used for authenticating games)
game run outstandingly well and look at the sale numbers they have :) whit denuvo :)
Witcher 3 sold millions of copies without Denuvo so Denuvo has no use (if it 'protected' sales Witcher 3 would have ZERO sales since it doesn't use protection... so Denuvo is not needed)
You mentioning a good game, that could be 'better' without the constant file checks and random ability to lock you out of your game whenever it wants, is not making Denuvo look better, just unnecessary burden on paying customers
