This game had such an unfortunate release/reputation for what it really is. Not that it didn't deserve the backlash for the awful performance (it still has performance issues) and the censorship, but its genuinely a great game. I've finished it 3 times 2 of them being ng-ng+ on gamepass and 1 on steam. It's a solid 8/10 souls-like

Pros:
Exploration. Games biggest strength and ,in my opinion, has the best exploration among all souls-likes.
Build variety and free stat-respec. Creative on the magic side
Somewhat great story?
Art and environmental design
Boss designs

Cons:
Rough performance.
Inconsistent difficulty. The game had 3 hard bosses for me which 2 of them was the same person and the other was an optional boss. First ones hardness comes from being the first difficulty spike and the second one was just the first one on steroids. The optional one,however was hard for the sake of being hard. Final boss was a joke after that. Other than that, its an easy game compared to souls series and other souls-like games.
Censorship, multiple bosses survive fighting you or it turns out 'they've just been testing you'. Breaks the immersion and makes the fights less rewarding. I think players should've given the option to play pre-1.5 with the gameplay upgrades that came with 1.5. Still, it's sad because this is a great game and considering this is their first, we could expect much better jobs.

This game itself is very good and fun, and looks great, its just so unoptimized that its impossibile not get distracted by it and it takes all the fun away :/

Amazing absolutley PEAK Souls-like. If you beat all the souls-Bourne-Sekiro-Elden world games this is the next best thing. Amazing interconnected level design, build experimenting and most importantly EXPLORATION. It is truly a joy to get lost in the levels and find lore or complete NPC side quests Sould-like style. Very inspried by Sekiro as far as the locations and some hidden parry mechanics. I hope they make a sequel!
