People are hating on modern AC, and well deserved. Old AC games, basically every main line AC game up until Unity, are considered classics by most people. And even with modern AC games Origin was still well liked by a lot of people. So no, the AC hatred is not universal. The hate is mostly about Ubisoft being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company that has lost its touch.
