My only issues is tha naming is way too close to Wo Long, WuKong,...etc, so I feel unless it impresses it will get mixed up with these other 2 games.
In fact, in Chinese, the name is not like WuKong
Nothing is like Sekiro, even Wo Long was being compared to Sekiro before it came out and despite both games being about deflecting it still not remotely the same.
This game actually looked similar to Wo Long in almost every way the only difference I actually saw was how weapon switching works (maybe). Even some of the locations and shots looked similar, looks exactly like something Team Ninja would make.
Though I'm not saying cuz of that hard similarity its a cheap rip off, I dont even thing Wo Long was that good. So if it is a essentially the same I hope that its a drastically better game.
If is fast paced, they are more similar to Team Ninja games.
If they are more heavy and a little bit "clunky" are more similar to From Software games.
This seems way more similar to the first. Like most of stuff created in asian market, to be honest. Khazan felt more similar to Nioh as well, especially the UI and the skill tree. Wu Kong pretty much used a lot of mechanics and animations from Nioh 2.
Lies of P was a good mix of both. And Stellar Blade is the only one that I can think of that reminds more of a souls than a Team Ninja title.
