i think saying the gameplay doesnt evolve with difficulty is kinda silly cause i want to see you do the difficulty 10 mission 5 achievement and then tell me that it doesnt change how you need to play, as the base difficulty is massively easy mode on solo.
if thats your thoughts thats entirely on you, but for others reading dont take it as absolute truth as i myself am reaching 80 hours due to the roguelike elements which i never did in omd3 because once campaign was over i never felt compelled to keep playing.
Rift corruption was supposed to mix things up but if it shows up it's either in a spot nobody uses or it's just a "whatever, I will just move here" situation. It's way too mild and most of the time easy to ignore.
Difficulty 10 changes only one thing, you watch out for the gnoll and other "player hunters". The rest plays exactly the same in the same spots with the same traps.
i disagree but it depends how many people you are playing with, its great you found it easy but most wont lol.
