What do you expect? If you go over two hours its much harder to get a refund, so of course reviews from people that didn't like it will have a low number of hours.
That's my point though... their arguments are mostly invalid.

Obviously a negative review will mostly be under 2h, as that is the refund time limit.

You can see there are not enough barricades to have fun with killboxes as we did in previous games, see how theres no campaign nor decent tutorials, or too much grind, or lack of text chat / matchmaking etc etc in under 2h.

So they are legit reviews no matter how much you dislike it.
17 hours, still enjoying it.

Ok? I'm not saying the game is bad and plan to get it. But really, what does your opinion of the game have to do with what others think of it? You liking the game doesn't mean everyone else has to.

people who try to ridicule negative reviews don't even have critical thinking.
1) 2 hour return policy, and yes 2 hours is enough to go through a couple of maps and see the current state.
2) if half of the fans of the series turned away and flooded it with reviews, this is a failure and a punishment for the game series, unless of course those who were satisfied with the game finance the developers for 1000 dollars each
But downvoting a game based solely on a patch being released on steam and not xbox is not a reason... to downvote... a game...

57% positive reviews over almost 1k reviews.

A fanboy opinion doesnt matter at all

No one said it was. If this thread was about that review maybe you should have mentioned it in the first post.

It's almost like people who have been playing the OMD series for a decade and a half can recognize (at least in their opinion) that the game feels like crap within 2 hours or something.

Many did not even buy it and did not have the opportunity to leave a review, for example, I told my friends about the current state of the game and they refrained from buying, I see comments on pirate sites that they do not need the game even for free in its current form

Game has flaws, but gamers are just whiney these days

True.

As with any game - simping fanboys ridicule all negative reviews - the reviews are either after too short gameplay time to be qualified to criticize the game or after suspiciously too long gameplay time for someone who claims he did not enjoy playing the game.

I personally do not mind Robot Entertainment experimenting with variations to OMD formula that are not for me (like Deathtrap) as long as it neither kills the OMD franchise nor changes it forever. So far it seems enough people like it so it won't flop and bankrupt RE and enough people dislike it so it won't become the new standard for OMD.

then why are you on here spamming the forums if you fundamentally disagree how the game is made

and yet you have reviews with 20 minute saying "the game is boring nothing changes there is no content also its impossible to play solo" an opinion backed by objectively wrong facts from someone who did a single mission and then rage quit.

Lets all act like those have any amount of value, except they dont.
