Will more characters be available in the future?

i know the game just came out and is in early stages but if a good chunk of characters from central fiction were here that would be cool!

Tao is in the animated trailer, so I'd bet on her. There's a couple of sec of Jin gameplay, so I can confirm him. Arakune is a boss, but he might have a playable ver in the future.

I'd personally like to see Tager, Bullet, Carl (don't ask me how), and Nine. Jubei and Terumi would be awesome but they'd probably make them especially hard to unlock lol.

Sure hope we'll see some interesting characters. I'm so tired of Ragna, Noel, Jin, and Taokaka.

It's cool to see people wanting in the game, he's my favorite but i don't see him making it in unless they give him really fast walking speed similar to his unlimited versions or do something weird like giving him a lot of air mobility with jC. Maybe giving him sledgehammer as the dash could work.

It would be awesome if they make it work, but i'm keeping my expectations low.
Aside from Tager i'd love to see in the game and if she makes it i'd be happy no matter who else they add. Bullet, Bang, Relius and Hazama are others i'd really like to see.

I wouldn't mind seeing Izanami, Tager, Rachel, and Valkenhyne. I mainly want them to keep adding characters with extreme combat variance from other characters, So nu's currently at the bottom of my wishlist despite being my longtime main (normally I prefer Nu's aggression over Lambda's adaptability)

This page on the game's official website on seems to suggest that there'll be more than 3 chars we can be certain are coming (Es, Jin, and Taokaka) with how many "?" slots there are, but I don't know for sure.

when it comes to character addition proposals I would prioritize characters based on how radically their gameplay contrasts with what's already present. In light of this, bullet would be excellent because there is no ground-based boxer type in the game as-is, tager would also be great because there is no 'behemoth' type either. I don't care what compromises they have to make, if he can throw enemies around then he's perfect

jubei would be awesome but when jin and hibiki are both already in/going to be in the game it's hard to come up with a way to 'justify' him. How do you make the third katana iaijutsu fastboi stand out? Nine would be similar to kokonoe but honestly I love her so much I'd take her as a /pallette swap/ so if she had anything new at all even if she WAS extremely similar I'd be happy

valkenhayn's transformation mechanic would be hugely awesome. carl/relius would probably be difficult to implement but I can imagine them being awesome if they found a way to. Terumi/Hazama could be really rad. Bang is a great idea too because on top of being a fun moveset his bang install movement could be a REALLY COOL gameplay variant unlock

TBH Azrael, Platnium, Bullet, Valk and celica would be great additions to the "Roguelite" element of the game.
