Review: DisplayFusion contains something for everyone!
Hi, it seems that Steam forces you to have used software for at least 5 minutes to review it, which is sorta impossible to gather from DisplayFusion as the Steam entry only launches the installer or installed software, both of which doesn't seem to be tracked. This means that basically nobody can use Steam's review system to review the software, which is sad.

That's why I'm posting my review here for now! On to the review:

Perfect for powerusers and users with multiple monitors, or just people who like to customize their Windows experience. Even though DisplayFusion pushes their multimonitor support for i.e. wallpapers and taskbars, the application is so much more and have a wide range of powerful tweaks that enhances the user experience.

Myself, I disable the window-management tweaks and hotkeys and uses DisplayFusion for its easy-to-use wallpaper management and various smaller but still useful tweaks, like their ALT+TAB handler. The benefits of this is that it overrides the handler which Windows 8.1 uses in maximized borderless games. Normally, the default one is an ugly grey style and shows all apps, including Metro apps with no icon or title. DisplayFusion's handler override this one and allows me to hide all Metro apps from showing up.

Another extremely useful tweak I regularly use is the window snapping feature, which makes window movement and positioning easier as windows snaps to one another. Not to mention the "mouse wheel to scroll windows under the mouse cursor that is not in focus" feature, which is extremely useful and seems to be supported by a wide array of software. Even their "center child windows over the parent window" is extremely effective as you don't have to go around look for the dialogue prompts when it i.e. opens on another monitor.

There's something in DisplayFusion for everyone, and it's extremely easy to disable or enable only the functions you feel you need to enhance your experience. A strong recommendation from a happy user.

P.S
The only downside is that you're forced to install DisplayFusion through Steam if you buy it in the Steam Store. The Steam licenses aren't supported in the downloadable software from the homepage, which is sad as I dislike being forced to install Steam simply to install this great application on all of my computers. Though that's a pet peeve I'm more than willing to ignore.

But if you don't buy it through Steam the license is only good for one PC. The Steam version is good on any PC you log into Steam with (i think)

This is true if you buy the Pro Standard edition. The Pro Personal edition ($5 more than the Steam version) includes unlimited installations.

Thanks for this review, pointing me to the great ALT+TAB function i had previously missed.

It's a shame Steam doesn't track how long i use this program... i'd love to share a review with my Steam friends, as it's an awesome tool i can't live with, especially when both my monitors are on (read : nearly all the time).
