When i get a chance i will take a look at it. Or just play Star Trek Mod on Stellaris instead.
If you would just like to play Star Trek faction races (not full civs) with ships sets included, I offer several on workshop. My ship models are considered some of the best for the game, if your interested.
Link to Horemvore's ST mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/galacticcivilizations3/mods/84/?
Its the lack of documentation and tools tbh. Modding GC3 is fairly simple tbh, getting your head around the scheme/xml structures is the daunting and off putting part.
@Nightstalker, My mod is kept upto date (current Crusade 2.33, not sure Vanilla version is currently working) I will be updating it for 2.5 Crusade and Vanilla 2.5 once the devs iron out the issues with said patch.
However I would NOT try to use both together.
Horemvore uses many, many of my star trek ship models in his mod. The Xindi and Tholians were specifically done for his mod.
