The next Divided Land playtest has begun - and this time, you can host your own world using Local / Co-op mode.

No dedicated server setup.
No port forwarding.
No complex configuration.

Simply host, invite your friends, and survive the nights together.

This update brings a reworked Night Horde, a full loot and crafting progression overhaul, new combat mechanics, and a long list of quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback.

The Night Horde has been completely redesigned to make every encounter more rewarding and intense.

• The Horde now spawns every 4 hours, making each event more meaningful

• Added five new creature types, each with unique abilities

• New defensive options: Ballista upgrades, Catapults, Throwable Bombs, and Spike upgrades

• Defeating the Horde now grants exclusive schematics, high-value loot, and bonus XP

We’ve completely rebalanced how players advance through gear tiers.
Crafting medium and high-tier equipment now requires a combination of ore mining & processing, material looting, schematics, farming, and taming — making progression more challenging but much more satisfying.

Combat has also received major updates:

• Perfect Block – time your block just before impact to stagger enemies

• Knockback Effects – both players and enemies now react physically to powerful hits

• Adjusted stamina and recovery for smoother, more skill-based encounters

• Proximity Crafting – recipes now use materials from nearby stations automatically

• 100 % resource return when demolishing with full Blacksmith armor

• New Dismantle Table to recycle unwanted gear

• Auto shut-off for fires and crafting stations

• Updated death penalty – keep belt & armor, gain a sickness debuff

• Added Prophecy Altar to reveal the next Horde timer

• Free Camera Mode for exploration and screenshots

• Fixed building alignment & snapping issues

• Numerous general fixes and optimizations
