Why would anyone buy from the marketplace?

I see tons of people mad because they lost item they paid real money for... Why do you guys even buy those? You walk around for a minute, find a hammer, bash someone's head and you get plenty of stuff for free. Its completly stupid to pay for items that can be looted.

Define how its pay to win If you get out of a safezone and I kill you with a sniper while my friend who was waithing inside said safe zone go loot your body...

You just lost everything you paid for. It din't made you stronger or better

come on now... its not that hard to find ammo now and then.. on and a shotgun dosent need to reload to kill you. Unless you suck at shooting ofc.

You dont gain an advantage that will help you kill another player.
Its not pay to win, its pay to play, unless you just kill other players and loot them, then its free to play.
You pay for cash shop items, get killed and now the items belong to the killer, how is that pay to win?
Id say this game is kill to win, and cash shop wont make you a better killer.

there is actually no need to buy anything from the marketplace

just to go one of the many game wiki site and you can find exactly on the map where to find each item and which are the easiest places

the only reason to buy anything i guess is because you dont want to save some time in playing the game looting for items. but that really makes nosense since the game is all about exploring, looting and killing zombies in order to do so...

The first two weeks I was playing I made the mistake of buying some items only to loose them at a latter time. The first time I bought weapons and gear. The second time I bought bandages and coconut water. I spent a total of $10 all together though. I have learned since then. Since they have allowed the purchase of the Medium and Large backpacks with found money in the game I have bought two medium backpacks and they are worth it but I will not buy GC again, at least I don't think I will. As far as other players go, I go out of my way to avoid them unless I know them though I have teamed with strangers and exchanged fire with a thug that was trying to kill me (he succeeded).

You can only buy melee weapons in the cash shop and they are not worth it because you can find loads of these in the game.
I got killed, started naked, got a melee wep in a few minutes, same for food and drink.
GC were worth it to buy night vision (not anymore because they tripled the prices and its not worth it anymore given you can lose them anytime to bandits.
Still worth buying backpacks with gc, they are a necessity and they dont really cost that much.
Im like you, avoid other players whenever possible, only fight to defend myself......sadly so far ive been on the losing side 99% of the time :P
Regardless, some GC items are necessary, i only hope they reverse the prices on night vision, vithout those we're confined to only playing during daytime, and at the present prices im definitely not buying.

You can buy packs and nightvision with money you find on the zombies you kill now. I've gotten 10,000 twice and a lot of 30 and 40 dollar amounts. I can find a lot of stuff in the game and now I know where to look for a lot of things and sometimes I am surprised by what I find. Now that I am using a med pack instead of the small one I can really loot and put it in my vault for latter. I have never had so much fun being a pack-rat before. I can't see buy GC at all now that packs can be bought with game money but they are expensive and I haven't tried nv becasue I figure it would only get taken anyway. I like creeping in the dark and stepping on a zombie and he attacks. That's awesome. I like to be surprised and yes sometimes scared though I don't get scared as much as the first few times I played the game. Now if I don't get killed by a thug or bandit I can last a long time but to be honest sometimes the zombies do overwhelm me and then all you can do is feed them.

I admit i bought a large stock of ammu to go on a private server youtube rampage, was fun. Them zombies had it coming...they ate my dog.... And what they did to my poor uncle ED...DAMN THEM!!!
