another thing is to run

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The War Z\pb\pbsvc_zombie.exe

and reinstall and test pb service

Install and update PB from EvenBalance problem solved. BTW, this is common in PB enabled games..... been happening all the way back to Battlefield 1942 http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=support-twz.php
